Product Details

Since it first introduction on the market, the Ball Engineer Master II Aviator has been one of Ball's signature watches. It has a vintage feel and traditional pilot look which is timeless. This offers a very good amount of legibility.

The Aviator is powered by the Ball RR1102 automatic movement, which is a ETA 2836-2. Ball puts an emphasis on accuracy under adverse conditions. The Aviator is ISO1413 certified to withstand up to 5,000g of shock resistance.

The 46mm stainless steel case is satin brushed throughout. While it might look ordinary, the case of the Ball Aviator is anti-magnetic to 4,800A/m and water resistant to 100m/330ft.

The main feature of the Ball Aviator is the luminous. Ball watches are all their use of tritium gas tubes. The Engineer Master II Aviator takes it to another level. This model offers something special. Tritium gas tubes are normally round and thin. Here however, the tubes used for the hour markers are wide and flatter, Ball calls it double-sized micro gas tubes. In reality they are like 3 or 4 times the size of standard tritum tubes. This looks fantastic and results in some extreme legibility. The glow of the big fat tritium tubes is insanely impressive in the dark! Lume junkies should check this out!
